What is Multimedia?
The multimedia arena is the home for contests that do not neatly fit into the other arenas.
- Sculpting
- Building or fabricating
- Incorporate multiple materials or techniques
- Tangible, three dimensional output
It is also the arena where you can try out new ideas for contest types that may grow into arenas of their own.
- Music or other audio
- Animation
- 3D software
- Performance art
What are the requirements for entering Worth's Multimedia contests?
Entry Requirements
Are there restrictions on what can be used in an entry?
- First and foremost - and not unique to Multimedia - the work you submit must be your own.
- Each contest will have specific requirements and limitations. Read the contest description carefully.
- The photography of your entry must be of sufficient quality to judge your entry on its merits.
- Unless specified in the contest description, all Multimedia contests are designed for all ages.
- Entries, unless otherwise specified, will consist of ONE photograph, not a collage. If you have other views or detail shots, you may link those in your user comments.
Eligibility Requirements
Are there restrictions on which contests I can enter?
- In general, no. Beginner and Advanced contests are defined by the nature of the contest rather than your past performance in the arena.
- There may occasionally be contests with restrictions, but you will know that because you already read the contest description.
- Head-to-head contests may have experience or skill level defined by the players.
HxH Requirements
Can I start my own contests?
- Yes! Start a thread in the Multimedia Head-to-head forum. Be sure to read the rules stickied at the top of the thread first and use the format provided.
- Another option is to organize an Multimedia Revolution contest. Unlike a HxH, you are not limiting the contest to the players who sign up in advance. We ask that you have 10 interested players to ask for a revolution. You should start this thread in the Multimedia Head-to-head forum also.\
